We offer customized and industry standard pre-clinical translational research services, supporting ex vivo and in vivo studies related to Immunology and Inflammation, Tissue Engineering, Regenerative Medicine, Organ and Vascularized Composite Allotransplantation, Diabetes, Cardiovascular Disease, Obesity, Neurodegenerative Disorders and Cancer Biology.

ExVivo Organ and Tissue Preservation Studies
Our cardiovascular emulating CaVESWave® laboratory platform is allowing clinicians and researchers to advance organ preservation through novel oxygen delivery technologies, perfusates, cellular, drug, and gene therapies evaluated ex vivo and in vivo in pre-clinical animal and human models.
Specialty Lab Services and BioMarker Assays
BioMedInnovations (BMI) offers access to advanced laboratory services to support biomarker discovery and analysis methods such as immune monitoring, genomics, and bioanalysis to accelerate drug, vaccine and therapeutic development.
Our full-service suite of services come with powerful translational informatics and computational biology approaches that maximize information from each sample and study subject. The goal is to allow predictive modeling and biomarker signature development in transplant immunology, organ preservation, and drug discovery.
Examples of services provided include:
-
Tissue analysis (histopathology, cellular and molecular imaging),
-
Cell profiling (flow cytometry and mass cytometry),
-
Biomarker analysis (multiplex cytokine assays),
-
Pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic testing (LC/MS-MS with advanced quadrupole instrumentation),
-
Genomic quantitation (nCounter Nanostring ® assay).
BMI services proactively address challenges of sample size and statistical methodology in translational sciences.
BMI offers expert biostatisticians and statistical programmers to craft detailed study plans, including precise definitions of endpoints and descriptions of analyses, to address regulatory risks and maximize success from the outset.
